3d Diagram

After the 2d collage work, we were assigned to make a 3d diagrammatic model depending upon our phrases and case studies which were given randomly before for the collage work. My phrases are narrow explosion and unfolded joints and you can see list of the case studies in the post of collage. (I shared its link below.)

I studied cases again and I tried to combine them with my phrases. In my collage work, I associated both cases and phrases with light. So, I kept to same idea to produce 3d diagrammatic model. All of the houses are based on lighting system. After they combined in this common feature, they all use the light for different purposes. I will explain what I mean. For instance, Wall-less House, there is almost no privacy because of absence of walls. However, according to Endless House’s architect, Friedrick Kiesler, people need different levels of enlightenment in the places they use for different purposes. For example, they must feel safe in the bedroom, so the room should not be too bright nor too dark. Additionally, House for the Poem of the Right Angle was designed to take light on different angles and this house is different compared to other houses in the list because there is absence of windows. In this house, truncated cones jutting out from the roof offer narrow viewing portals into the canopy of the surrounding trees. Briefly, according to my analyses, I tried to show this light condition by enclosing some parts and changing closeness level so that the light come in thoroughly inside with different levels.

After the discussion hour, I understood that I could not produce a 3d diagrammatic model. Therefore, I will revise the model by considering my case studies and phrases again.
